Event Date:
February 1, 2019 - February 3, 2019
Event Location:
Sinsinawa Mound Center, 585 County Road Z, Sinsinawa, WI 53824

“The thing that screws us up the most is the picture in our minds of how it is supposed to be.”

You see, it comes down to this: Everything changes, it is all unfolding as it should, so, relax, pay attention and be creative.

Typically, we react to change with resistance and insistence; resisting the way our lives are unfolding and insisting that it should be otherwise, according to our plan. Transitions are potentials. They bring forth necessary questions and interruptions. Where am I? What am I doing? Who am I? What is important? It has been described as trying to drive through fog! Feeling an urgency to hurry up and get to where we think we have to get but not really being able to see clearly ahead. This retreat will be an opportunity for us to explore how transitions and change are beckoning us to clean things up in our lives. Facing qualms, uncertainties and indecisions as being an integral part of our lives and spiritual journeys. We will look at how change helps us evaluate the essential life shift from quantity to quality; from doing to being; from an expected life to a more genuine and authentic life.

What have we neglected for ourselves that give our life a greater sense of depth and meaning? How do we live a life from a deeper place of spiritual awareness and wisdom? What defines the quality of our lives is the grace and skill with which we navigate the dynamic flow of our lives. Leaving this retreat, we will proceed into our lives with a richer and more fulfilled sense of how to embrace ourselves and our lives from a place of grace and skill, with more patience, openness and compassion.
